I moved to the Wood River Valley with my family in July of 1977, and began attending valley schools in the 3rd grade at Hemingway Elementary. I later graduated from Wood River High, then went on to The College of Idaho (Caldwell, ID) where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Creative Writing minor.
After a brief stint with the Idaho Fish & Game Department and guiding salmon fishing in Canada, I made my way home to continue working in and around what I grew up with: land and construction.
I have been a licensed Realtor since 2002. My other interests are varied, and include the East Cape of Baja, trying to keep up with my two amazing daughters around in the hills and cooking fine foods.
My grandfather built modest homes, schoolhouses and iconic barns on the plains of South Dakota back in the 20’s, 30’s and 40’s.
My father (Wayne) began following in his footsteps immediately upon moving our family to Sun Valley in 1977. As a youngster, I watched as he quickly became one of this area’s foremost luxury home builders. He was essentially this valley’s first luxury spec. home builder. Now in his 80’s, he’s slated to build and co-develop the magnificent “Westcliff” project. See our current projects.
After a foray into “the real world”, I returned to Sun Valley in 1995 and opened a high-end kitchen and bath design firm. I sold that company in 2002 in order to focus full-time on real estate brokerage.
Today, I am proud that F3 Properties represents folks from all walks of life. In my mind, all successful deals involve driven people, clear and honest communication and firm-but-fair negotiations. When good people come together, the results speak for themselves.
